
Open Doors GED Program at SVHS
The Open Doors Re-Engagement Program (GED) through Battle Ground Public Schools provides educational services to older youth, ages 16-21, who have dropped out of school or are not expected to graduate from high school by the age of 21.

The mission of Open Doors is to support disengaged students by developing positive relationships that foster education, empowerment, and a plan for employment.
Student Expectations
Battle Ground Public Schools Open Doors students are expected to:
Attend weekly in-person sessions for at least one hour
Work independently for 7-12 hours per week
Satisfy the Indicators of Academic Progress (IAP) every three months to show progress
