Chief’s DREAM Team wins pair of awards to cap off school year
Chief Umtuch Middle School’s DREAM Team won a “Hearty” award from the American Heart Association! More than 3,500 schools were eligible to participate in the 10-state Western Region. Chief Umtuch won in the Heart Healthy School category in recognition of training all of their students to perform hands only CPR, their school-wide assembly about how vaping is impacting teens, and the school’s daily announcements read to students about vaping and heart health.
In addition, The Prevent Together: Battle Ground Prevention Alliance has named the Chief Umtuch Middle School DREAM Team as their outstanding partner for this year!
