5th-8th grade KNOW (HIV) curriculum

On Monday (periods 1,2,3) and Tuesday (periods 4,5,6) Jan. 11th and 12th, 2020, Chief Umtuch Middle School will be teaching students the State Mandated KNOW (HIV) education curriculum. If you do not wish for your student to be involved with this lesson you must “opt” the student out for this day of instruction. You will need to do 2 things:

1.  Review the KNOW (HIV) education curriculum at the following web addresses:

2.  Go to the Battle Ground School District website and complete the Opt out form. Link to the form is attached: KNOW (HIV) opt out form

If your student’s name is not on this opt out form by Jan. 11th / 12th, then they Will be taught the KNOW (HIV) education curriculum.
